Terms of Service
This bilingual page explains the proposed rules for using Lab Forge, a translation, document review, and QA workbench. It is a product-facing draft for operator and legal review. It does not become an agreement merely because it is displayed, and it does not ask you to accept terms that have not been completed.
Before publication: The operator must supply the contracting entity, effective date, contact route, commercial terms, governing law, dispute process, and any required consumer or data-processing terms. Until those fields are confirmed, this page is informational only.
Status and scope
These proposed terms would apply to a person or organisation using the Lab Forge web application, its upload and analysis workflows, review tools, exports, and share links. The operator should publish one approved version and identify the version shown at sign-up or purchase.
To be confirmed by the operator: the approved effective date, version identifier, contracting entity, and whether any separate order form or data-processing agreement takes priority.
The service
Lab Forge provides tools for submitting source material, requesting translation or document analysis, reviewing returned work, preserving terminology and structure where supported, and exporting a result. The exact formats, language pairs, model operators, and checks available to you are the ones shown by the product and the configuration of your workspace at the time of use.
A feature label, preview, or example is not a promise that every input will be accepted or that an output will be complete, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.
Accounts and access
- Keep your sign-in details and invitation or access keys under your control. Tell the operator promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Use only the account and workspace access granted to you. Do not share credentials or attempt to bypass access controls.
- The operator may need to suspend access to protect the service, investigate abuse, or perform maintenance; the approved notice and remedy process must be stated before this is treated as a contractual right.

Your content and instructions
You decide what to upload and what instructions to give. You are responsible for having the permission and lawful basis needed to provide that material, including personal, confidential, copyrighted, or regulated material. Do not upload material you are not authorised to share.
The privacy notice describes personal-information handling that the current product can document. It is separate from these proposed service terms.
To be confirmed by the operator: the approved allocation of intellectual-property rights in uploads, prompts, translations, analyses, and exported files; confidentiality duties; and any permitted service-improvement use.
AI-assisted results
Lab Forge may use automated and AI-assisted processing. Results can contain omissions, mistranslations, formatting changes, or other errors. Review the source and result before publication, filing, payment, legal reliance, or another consequential use.
Lab Forge does not provide legal advice. A translation or legal-document analysis is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Sharing and security
A share link you create is a capability: anyone who obtains the link may be able to view the scoped task or project until it expires or you revoke it. Check the audience before sending a link and do not place secrets in a URL.
To be confirmed by the operator: the security-contact route, incident-notification commitment, and any service-specific confidentiality or security standard the operator is willing to promise.
Pricing and payment
Any price, quote, package, invoice, checkout flow, or usage balance shown in the product is subject to the applicable order or checkout record. Do not rely on a draft term page as a price quote.
To be confirmed by the operator: currency, taxes, payment timing, renewals, refunds, credits, cancellation, failed payments, and the authoritative support route for billing disputes.
Availability and changes
The service may change as formats, providers, safety controls, and product workflows evolve. Maintenance, network failures, provider outages, or an input outside a supported path can interrupt a job. Save source files and exported results where appropriate.
To be confirmed by the operator: the service-level target, maintenance notice, change-notice period, liability cap or exclusions, force-majeure treatment, and governing law or dispute forum.
